Understanding the foot anatomy and biomechanics is essential in equine medicine.
I try and do evidence-based practice but the information in the literature on the application of farriery, just basic farriery, is a little sparse. It leaves a lot to be desired. The farrier profession right now is so diverse. There are so many ideas and there are so many different approaches instead of saying where we have one basic approach, in other words, using principles, and then to divulge from that and go in different directions.
Course include about 250 mins of presentation and final quiz (passing degree 70%).
